El Botin - Established in 1725, this Madrid landmark is the world’s oldest continuously operated restaurant. So famous for its roasted lamb and suckling pigs that Ernest Hemingway even mentioned them in one of his books.
Carmencita - Madrid’s spot for decadent and tasty brunch
Barganzo - Laid-back kosher restaurant with unbelievable hummus and top rate middle eastern food
Shibari Sushi and Grill - Cozy Japanese restaurant in the heart of the city with some of the best sushi around.
Ricardo Sanz Wellington - High-end sushi place in glamorous Salamanca
Mercado San Miguel - An iconic food market in Madrid’s city center, this is a must for anyone who loves food.
La Trocha - Best Caipirinhas you will taste outside of Brazil.
Cafe Central - Jazz club with amazing tapas, cocktails and live bands.
Blackbird Bar - Haunt for live rock and blues shows.

Street Markets
Mercado de las Ranas - Located in the famous Calle de las Huertas, this outdoor flea market is full of interesting stalls and lively vendors selling flowers, antique jewelry, food, musical instruments, and much more. Only on Saturday March 1st
El Rastro - Madrid’s most famous outdoor flea market has been happening in La Latina neighborhood for over 400 years. Full of curiosities, clothing, antiques, and everything in between. Only on Sunday March 2nd (yes, the day of our wedding, so make sure you go early in the morning!) from 9AM to 3PM
The Festival - happening in Salesas neighborhood, a lively market of fashion, art, food, cocktails, music, and a very interesting local crowd. Only on Saturday March 1st
Galleries, Parks and Historical Sites
Museo del Prado - Spain’s main national art museum with rotating exhibitions and art collections.
Museo Reina Sofía - Spanish 20th-century art with works by Dali, Picasso, Miro, and more.
El Retiro Park - The “green lung” of Madrid, this world heritage site is a vast green oasis in the city.
Plaza Mayor - an iconic landmark of old Madrid with stunning Medieval facades.
Palacio Real - National heritage site where Spain’s royal family resides.
Templo de Debod - Ancient Egyptian temple from 200 BC.
